The mic will start on the 22nd at 8pm at and the show will go weekly, located at 1 Republik Lounge which is at 34th street and 2nd avenue. Sign up is walk-in and there will be a random bucket system. No cost, one drink minimum. We will also give away a prize.
The open mic at 1 Republik was halfway decent. It was basically all comics in the audience, but that's normal. The atmosphere was friendly and almost everybody stayed until the last comic, who finished right around 10 PM. I would definitely go back.

Fun MIC. 3$ beers you can't beat that. The bar is a little nasty. But the people who do the MIC are friendly. Didn't get the hosts name but he does a good job This turns into a freestyle raw mic very quickly I liked it.
