  3. You;d get more respect at this place if you told them you were a pedophile than a comic. How can they even call that place a comedy club? It's a shitty dive bar with blinking lights.

  5. I performed here a few times, and although the waiting process can be a frustration that defies performance description, the room aura and comedic contrast is quite an intriguing phenomenon. Aesthetically incongruent and filled with observational potentiality.

The stage ambience is filled with miscellaneous paraphernalia's, an abstract inventory for the cerebral observer, also the neon-ish colors and semi circle room is quite an encapsulating theme.

Multiple peripheral TV screens to pacify your narcissistic notions, a rarity in most open mics, and the furniture incongruity caters to a potential audience preferential taste. The room is astronomically spacious and comically inviting, and you can taste humor in the air.

My only pet peeve is the inability to perform in successions based on an assumed chronological system, I'm assuming it's a lottery, although it appears organizationally ambiguous in nature.

"Nevertheless" I've developed an overnight infatuation for this place and will continuing exploring its multifaceted polarity and overall unorthodox settings.

  7. I've been doing comedy for a while. I haven't performed here only a couple of times because I read so many negative things about this place.
    But... God ... Damn...
Tonight I saw the most impressive open micers I've ever seen in one place. Some of them were definitely capable of opening for a headliner- hell, maybe even middling. How often can you say such a thing about an L.A. open mic? When I see four or five comics in a row walk onto the stage and think that they can magically come up with stuff by just staring at people (as is often the case) I want to run out of the place. No one did it tonight. They were ON POINT. When comics are extremely talented AND listening respectfully to each other I don't want the open mic to end.
You guys are constantly writing that the manager is scum and the place is shady, etc. He was very nice to me. I can't speak about the guy beyond my brief interactions with him.
    I will definitely return.
