Kimi hosts this now. It is an ok mic, on again off again in terms of audience number. It is supportive, but the audience will be light 3/4 weeks. It is a music mic, but occasionally comedians take it over.
Lance Weiss hates this place, and is not going back for at least 3 months.
here's a simple pointer start your sign ups early, I've noticed when mics do that they tend to get more people in there. performers have atleast 3 to 4 performances that day. this place is on the way to manhattan. The potential of being a great mic is eminent, but strike while the iron's hot! if people are early their early. I give this place an 8 -The Critic
Nice place and free. No drink or cover minimum. Very rare. Comedians get 7 minutes and musicians get to play two songs. Only downside- it's not an actual stage so you have waiters and waitresses constantly walking by which can be a bit distracting.
Good mic, more musician heavy than comedians, but good crowd, supportive - if you still need a mommy - and the host Jamie is very cool.
