  1. I really like this mic, and this club. I found the host charming, fun, and professional. I love the room, and the whole vibe of the place. The club's good reputation among the comics I've spoken to speaks volumes about the place. I really recommend this mic.

  4. Where other comedy clubs sometimes feel like they double as low-end sex dungeons, The Stand is a breath of fresh air. Great light and sound, comfortable seats and friendly staff. Fariaz runs a well-organized mic and always puts the comics in a great mood. This is my new favorite mic. 10/10!

  5. It was a very supportive crowd. Nice stage, nice sound system, you get to be pretty close to the audience and I don't think open mics really get better than this. Great vibe.

  6. Fariaz does a great job with this open mic. It's a great, new club and most of the comics stick around until the very end and are supportive. 5 bucks for 5 minutes also gets you a drink ticket. Fariaz is professional, an excellent emcee, and good at keeping people from not going over their time. I was really impressed with this open mic. Highly recommended!

  7. Good host (Fariaz Rabbani). Pleasant Staff. Nice Venue. No noticeable anti-Semitism. What more could a Jew ask for?

  10. Would love to have known that there was an email address to sign up to for this. I arrived thinking it was sign-up, as stated here on Badslava. They keep 5 spots free for walk-ins, but if you don't get here early enough, too bad.
