Got there at 7:45, show didnt start until 9:45. Doesnt matter at all when u get there, because not only is there a lottery, but people just walk in at anytime and add their name in the cup even when the show is well underway. If youre a local you must put your name in the cup because they "want to keep it fresh". Yet the host admitted a few of the "visitors" had been there numerous times before to perform. Meanwhile even tho im a local for now (moving to LA in a week), ive never performed here so first timers should be with the "visitors" in my opinion. Here i am sitting for two hours, buying numerous drinks and food, supporting a bar that supports comedy and the bar pretty much shitted on me. And other than maybe one guy there was no difference in quality from the guys that didnt have to join the lottery. Cool place but process needs an overhaul. If you go, say youre a visitor. Its like a microcasm of Vegas as a whole. Treat visitors like royalty and locals like shit. Definitely a lesson to keep my hard earned money in pocket before finding out what the place is really about.

Forgot to mention they only pull THREE NAMES per night. THREE TOTAL
