Holy Hell!!! Great Room!!! Requested to sign up by email and got lucky. (Lucky because this room is no joke with great comics) Showed up early and checked in. Went up first and the crowd wanted to laugh. My set went well (despite me) and the crowd and other comics were great.
Even though I am only eleven months into performing, I have been to open mics in L.A. (Comedy Store), Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and D.C. (and many more) and let me say that this one is the best IMO. (I got up in Las Vegas, Philly, locals and could only observe the others) The details in this room are not overlooked. Not only NOT a bringer, the audience is a paying audience that is drinking/eating with a candle at there table, but more importantly, they are there to laugh! Sound is great, and lighting is solid. I had a great experience. Hope the same for you. GREAT ROOM!!!
Alana is one of the nicest people in New England comedy. Fody's is a really good room, and I suggest any comic in the area try to get a chance to perform there. Nashua is a bit out of the way but it's worth it. Friendly atmosphere and the crowd the night I performed was great. I'm not sure if this is necessarily an open mic or just a showcase-style event but if you can definitely try and perform there. Solid room.
