Very cool venue, They have open mic nights almost every day of the week. It's in a hotel, there are beautiful tourists walking around the lobby, wondering what to do in LA.

New in town I walked in to this hotel lobby last night and there was literally nobody there. There was nobody behind the front desk. There was no sign indicating a bar or lounge or restaurant. There was no sign indicating a comedy club anywhere. I was completely puzzled. Walked around the main floor and looked everywhere. It felt like a post apocalypse Ramada Inn. I know I'm dumb but I don't think I'm THAT DUMB. Why no signs in the lobby saying Bar Lounge downstairs?
Cause they are lame; a hotel located on the eastern edge of East Hollywood calling itself the Hollywood Hotel, like it's all glamourous n shit. But, it's a great place to do the open mic-er! Fo sheezee!
The Hollywood Hotel is a fun, intimate room. Mostly comics, but you do get hotel guests who really appreciate the entertainment!
