Easy to get on stage. Maria runs a cool show. The crowd could be anything from a few lone bikers to multiple families. It starts on time though and you'll get on and be able to perform for your fellow comedians at the very least. Very loose time restrictions too. I had fun.
Fucking fun place, great place to do crowd work!! Also dan the man is a sick host, careful tho lots of bikers and mexican gangsters who aren't afraid to throw punches if you mess with them to much as one comic found out !! I'm def hitting that place up again!!
Two things you don't do here: 1) Don't go on a night the Lakers are playing. No one will pay attention to you. 2) Don't do jokes that put down Mexicans. Everyone will pay attention to you but it's not the kind of attention you want. Just follow those rules and you'll do fine.
Get up 1st or 2nd here. After that the audience (including comics) get really really drunk and it's tradition here to heckle the comedians, in a weird friendly way. Very difficult room. - Brett Gilbert
